Business Analyst – ERP System Implementation
Full Time Position
Location: Telecommuting and presence at the Cap-Chat plant as needed.
AEM Group Canada Inc (Advanced Energy Minerals) owns and operates the Cap Chat HPA processing plant located in the Gaspé Peninsula. The Cap Chat plant produces high purity minerals for future energy applications.

AEM Group Canada Inc. is looking for a Business Analyst to join its finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Business Analyst will first participate in the implementation and configuration of the new ERP system. You are very curious and have strong problem solving skills

The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Conduct exploratory analyses in partnership with the implementation team;
- Conduct project kick-offs and weekly meetings;
- upervise and support the implementation team;
- Organize information gathering workshops with the various departments.
- Analyze the needs of the various departments while knowing how to recommend best practices;
- Ensure that deadlines are met;
- Plan and oversee management of change within the organization;
- Ensure a rigorous management of all documents and materials as well as an excellent follow-up with the different departments;
Subsequently
- Develop and maintain the various analysis reports of the company's operations;
- Participate in the follow-up of different projects in the plant;
- Establish and interpret relationships between financial results and operational performance to assist in decision making and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Contribute to the preparation of the budget and forecasts and ensure their follow-up.
Required education and experience
- University degree in administration with a focus on information systems management, accounting or related experience in implementing ERP solutions;
- Good command of spoken and written French and English;
- Experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment;
- Experience in the financial field is an important asset;
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (BC) software;
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite (especially Excel) an important asset.
The Business Analyst will be required to:

Technical Marketing Manager
Full Time Position
Location: Permanent position based in Laval, Montréal (AEM laboratory and technology centre located in the INRS CQIB campus) offered in hybrid mode (telework and face-to-face) with occasional travel to Cap Chat (Haute-Gaspésie, Quebec) and internationally.
The successful candidate will be the technical specialist of the marketing group and will work closely with the R&D team and the plant team to meet specific customer needs.
Main Tasks
- Develop relationships and make regular contacts and visits with customers to better understand their application, needs and specific problems
- Train and inform our international distributors and representatives about our products, their applications, and their technical characteristics
- Answer technical questions from customers
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products and improve manufacturing processes
- Coordinate development projects with the R&D and plant production groups to meet specific customer requests
- Collaborate in the development of technical documents on our products and their use.
- Assist the marketing team by participating in conference calls and international trade shows.
Skills required
- Master or PhD university degree in materials engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, metallurgical engineering, or other related scientific training.
- Experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service (ideally in a field related to alumina or ceramics).
- Functional French & English (international travel)
- Willingness to learn in a rapidly developing field.
- A constant concern for customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish business relationships.
